On a beautiful Friday Night Slate, we will be posting an article bright and early for you guys. Today, we will be stacking against Clayton Richard, Left Handed Pitcher for the San Diego Padres. This season, Clayton Richard has struggled against lefties overall, giving up a .320 average and 18 home runs against them. More recently, Clayton Richard has given up a 2.0HR/9 the past two months, and has struggled to find the strike zone. This forces him down in the count, which then leads to him lobbing pitches down the middle, which results in more home runs. Clayton Richard uses his sinker and change-up over 60% of the time. These pitches have sported 9 home runs and over a .400 average over the past 2 months!
Chris Taylor: Against LHP - .421 average and a HR against the Change-Up and .323 average in total
Justin Turner: Against LHP - .632 average and 4 HR against the Slider and .389 average and 1 HR against the change
Logan Forsythe: Against LHP - .400 average against the Change
Austin Barnes: Against LHP - .308 average and 1 HR against the sinker and .389 average and 4 HR against the Change.
